Revlon ColorStay Delicious

Revlon ColorStay Delicious

I love a good orange-y red, and Revlon ColorStay Delicious certainly fits that bill. It’s a great summer color and surprisingly a little jelly-ish in nature, which I wasn’t expecting. Still it only took 2 coats to be fully opaque and if you ignore my ring finger (which I stupidly marred by going swimming too soon after application and scratching the polish off on the steps) it has worn incredibly well. That picture was almost 48 hours after application and as you can tell there’s only the teeniest hint of tip-wear.

Moving on…

So I would have posted this yesterday, but I have not been able to get anything done on game days since the Kings entered the Stanley Cup Finals. To be completely honest I have not watched hockey since I was a teenager and I had forgotten how much I loved it until the Western Conference Finals this year. Hockey, literally, is the only sport I can watch on TV (and for that matter, in person) that completely absorbs me to the point that I cannot multitask while watching (and those of you that know me in real life know how rare that is).

So while I may not have been at Staples Center last night I’m pretty sure the entire neighborhood heard when the siren signaled the end of the game and the sounds of screaming, clapping, and crying erupted at my place. After the Kings going down to the Devils the last two games I was so nervous, but god damn that was an absolutely amazing game last night. I could literally fangirl over this for a while, but I won’t. It’s enough to say that to the exclusion of everything else we were celebrating around here long after the Kings left the ice.
