I wasn’t intending to use Revlon ColorStay Buttercup today, but things happen. Specifically, it’s going to be hot today, which means the horse is going to get a bath, which means my hands will be in soapy water for a while, and therefore I need a polish that’s up to that. Ta-da. Logic.
These Revlon ColorStay polishes may not be the most exciting colors in the world, but the formula is fantastic. Even layering one of them over a regular polish will extend the wear considerably. I was a little hesitant to pay $7-8 for these, but after using them I think they’re well worth the price. Buttercup took 3 coats to become fully opaque, which is good for a yellow (yellows are notoriously awful no matter the brand), and like the other ColorStay polishes I have dried very quickly.
