Apparently Revlon makes something called “Naturally Chic Glue-On Nails”. I haven’t use glue-on nails since I was 6 and after much begging convinced my mom to let me try them. They popped off within a few hours. Kinda soured me on them. Anyway, every time I Googled “Revlon Chic” the results I got were the stupid glue-on nails, so I thought I should clear up any confusion.
Moving on…
Chic is a new color from Revlon. I found it in a display at Rite-Aid yesterday with 15-20 other colors (including a renamed Perplex) that touted them as “new shades”. Hopefully they’ll get rolled into the core line. This polish though immediately drew my attention because it’s a dead-on dupe of MAC Blue India. I got Blue India when it came out and decided I really didn’t like it that much and gave it away; it didn’t help that the formula was appalling (in fact it was the first and last MAC polish I bought because of that). But I did eventually regret getting rid of the color and have been trying to find a dupe ever since. Enter Revlon. So not only is this a perfect color match the formula is a dream. One creamy, buttery, wonderful coat. Oh how I love Revlon.
